Next year will be my last year being at Lake Dallas High school and so far it was different experience for me considering from where I moved from. Better materials and layouts have been provided. The quality of the food has gotten better, students have the choice to be able to eat different types of cultures food and enjoy it. As two years went by, my junior year, a lot has changed in Lake Dallas High school. Tutorials were also provided and I took the opportunity to reach out and go to tutorials and study with my teachers. Making straights A’s wasn’t hard because at Lake Dallas High school, retakes were allowed so you can reach for a better grade. Junior: My freshman year of being a student of Lake Dallas High school was difficult for me, I didn’t get to have the experience of having friends nor socializing. The school also welcomed parent involvement. The school also had great sports teams and plenty of extracurricular activities. The school focused more on preparing us for college or any after high school plans rather than meeting teaching marks. Each scholar still was able to succeed in classes because the teachers were intentional with meeting each scholars needs. The academics changed along with the school becoming Founders Classical Academy of Corinth, but the teachers executed the change very well. The school felt more like a second home and was a safe place. The staff wanted the best for each scholar and knew us all by name. Everyday we said the school motto which meant we were agreeing to practice those virtues in all ways possible. I loved that the school focused on building quality people with virtuous character. Having been at North Hills for almost 11 years now, I have seen our school grow and develop further into a great learning and cultural environment. I feel that I am not only in an environment in which I am rigorously learning but also a place where diversity is valued and encouraged. Our school has many cultural traditions that are special to the student body. Our school is highly diverse, and practicing kindness and acceptance is central to our identity. One thing that I love most about North Hills is the student body culture. The academics are highly rigorous, and our teachers do an excellent job of motivating their students to strive to learn. While I do think that parent involvement and some aspects of connection in school have diminished over time, I can confidently say that I attend a great school. Now, as a high school junior, I've been able to see my school evolve and grow throughout the years. The nursery environment is rich with milestone moments, abundant enthusiasm, and genuine affection.Junior: I have been an Uplift North Hills Preparatory student since kindergarten in 2012. Parents and teachers work together to develop individual sleeping, eating, and playtime plans for each baby, and teachers inform parents of the child's daily experiences, including nap, feeding, and diapering details. Twice weekly, the children enjoy attending our Bucky Beats percussion music class. When weather restricts outdoor activities, the children enjoy a change of venue in Little Engine That Could our smaller of two gyms, where the children have extra space for playing with large toys. The children enjoy daily stroller rides around the eight-acre campus, time on the Infant/Toddler playground, and plenty of floor time and cuddle time with their teachers. Two teachers are devoted to the children's care, with a third teacher sharing time between the nursery and the adjoining toddler room. Up to eight children, six weeks to a year old, attend the nursery each day. Corgiville Fair Nursery is located in the lower level of The Dahlhouse and nurtures the youngest learners at Kids Express Learning Center.
